A passionate team of Australian gamers, journalists, and esports enthusiasts dedicated to delivering the most honest gaming content in the country.
StormReload was founded in 2019 by a group of Melbourne-based gamers who were frustrated with review scores that didn't reflect real-world gameplay experiences. We set out to build something different — a platform where honesty comes first.
Today we are a team of 12 writers, analysts, and video producers spread across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Perth. We cover everything from indie gems to AAA blockbusters, and from local LAN events to international esports championships.
Three principles guide every piece of content we publish.
We call it as we see it. A bad game gets a bad score, regardless of who made it or how big the marketing budget was. Our readers trust us because we never compromise on this.
We are part of the Australian gaming community, not just observers of it. We attend local events, support grassroots tournaments, and amplify the voices of Australian developers and players.
We don't do surface-level takes. Every review involves at least 15 hours of playtime. Tournament coverage includes pre-event analysis, live updates, and post-event breakdowns.
